Your care team

Who you'll work with

Registered Physiotherapists (PT)

Regulated health professionals trained in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiorespiratory conditions. Regulated by provincial physiotherapy colleges.

Certified Movement Coaches

Coaches with advanced training in functional movement, corrective exercise and strength programming. Experienced in working with clinical populations.

Somatic Practitioners

Clinicians trained in body-based therapeutic approaches including Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and breathwork.

How we work

Approaches we use

Not all clinicians specialize in every approach listed. During matching, you'll be connected with a practitioner whose training and experience align with your specific needs.

Manual Therapy & Joint Mobilization

Hands-on techniques used by physiotherapists to restore movement, reduce pain and improve joint function. Includes soft tissue release, joint mobilization and manipulation — tailored to your specific condition and comfort level.

Exercise Prescription & Rehabilitation

Individualized exercise programs designed to rebuild strength, restore range of motion and prevent re-injury. Progressed gradually based on your recovery and goals — whether you're post-surgical or returning to sport.

Somatic Experiencing

Developed by Dr. Peter Levine, Somatic Experiencing helps the nervous system complete stress and trauma responses that became stuck in the body. It uses gentle body awareness to release held tension and restore a sense of safety.

Breathwork & Nervous System Regulation

Targeted breathing techniques that activate the parasympathetic nervous system — reducing chronic tension, improving pain tolerance and supporting recovery from stress, anxiety and physical exertion.

Pain Neuroscience Education

An evidence-based approach that helps people understand the biology of pain — shifting from fear and avoidance to confident, informed movement. Particularly effective for chronic pain conditions where the nervous system has become sensitized.

Functional Movement Screening

A systematic assessment of how you move — identifying compensations, imbalances and movement patterns that may be contributing to pain or limiting performance. Forms the foundation of a personalized movement plan.

Mindful Movement

Movement practices that integrate body awareness, breath and intentional attention — drawing from yoga, Pilates and somatic traditions. Helps rebuild a positive, trusting relationship with your body after injury or chronic pain.

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy

A body-centred approach that integrates somatic awareness with talk therapy to address trauma held in the nervous system. Works with posture, gesture, movement and sensation as pathways to healing.
