Your care team

Who you'll work with

Registered Psychotherapists (RP)

Trained in a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR and somatic approaches. Regulated by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

Registered Psychologists (C.Psych)

Doctoral-level clinicians providing assessment, diagnosis and advanced therapeutic treatment. Regulated by provincial psychology colleges.

Social Workers (RSW / MSW)

Registered social workers providing therapy with a systems-informed lens. Covered under many extended health plans.

Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCC)

Certified by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), CCCs are professionally trained counsellors who provide individual, group, and family therapy. They hold a master's degree in counselling or a related field and adhere to a national code of ethics. CCCs offer evidence-based support for a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

How we work

Therapeutic approaches we use

Not all clinicians specialize in every approach listed. During matching, you'll be connected with a practitioner whose training and experience align with your specific needs.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. It's one of the most researched therapies for anxiety, depression, and OCD — practical, structured, and focused on building skills you can use every day.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

DBT teaches skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and tolerating distress without making things worse. It's especially effective for emotional dysregulation, self-harm, and borderline personality disorder.

EMDR (Trauma Processing)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) uses guided eye movements to help the brain process and integrate traumatic memories. It's a leading evidence-based treatment for PTSD and trauma-related distress.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT helps you stop fighting difficult thoughts and feelings, and instead focus on living in line with your values. Rather than eliminating discomfort, it builds psychological flexibility — the ability to move forward even when things are hard.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic approaches recognize that trauma and stress live in the body, not just the mind. These therapies use body awareness, movement, and breath to help release stored tension and restore a sense of safety.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy helps you examine the stories you tell about yourself and your life — and rewrite the ones that no longer serve you. It's collaborative, non-pathologizing, and deeply respectful of your lived experience.
